问：般若和菩提的区别是什么？
答：般若是智慧，比较纯洁的智慧。菩提就是菩萨，菩萨的智慧。两个意思不一样的。为什么叫普陀山，普陀就是梵文翻译过来的菩萨，菩提、普陀都是菩萨，普陀是代表观世音菩萨的梵文，普陀山，就是观世音菩萨的道场。
